After 6 months of being in the proverbial “rough”, Tiger Woods is set to return to the game of golf. Sources say that Woods has hired former Bush adviser Ari Fleischer to help him plan the logistics of the return. The venue? The Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill country club in two weeks. A close friend of Tiger Woods, golfer Mark O’Meara, hasn’t even ruled out an earlier Tiger return. But all signs point to Bay Hill. This is good news for golf fans because watching golf on TV just isn’t the same if Tiger isn’t in the field. With the news of his impending return I’m sure the PGA tour officials are cautiously planning to exhale after holding their breathe for the last 6 months. How will he play? How is the media circus going to affect the other golfers? Who on the tour will support Tiger? Who won’t? All these questions will finally be answered. Hopefully we can reset this situation and get back to why we love Tiger…..HIS GOLF GAME…nothing more.
