Tim Tebow Shows Off New Throwing Motion for NFL Scouts

The much anticipated Pro-Day of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow is now in the books.  Tebow showed off his new throwing style to NFL scouts in attendence in hopes   of proving that he can play the quarterback position at the highest level.  The knock on Tebow has been that no one thinks he can play QB in the NFL because he isn’t really your prototypical signal caller.  Most scouts think that he would be better suited switching to the H-Back position.  They even suggest he may be able to run a little of the Wildcat formation in the NFL.  But, Tim Tebow believes he is a quarterback and is willing to work hard to prove his critics wrong.  So, on a rainy day in Gainesville, FL. Tebow through dozens of balls on numerous routes.  The verdict?  That he is still releasing the ball too low, but that he has improved on getting rid of the ball quicker.  Hardly a overwhelming endorsement.  However, the NFL extended Tebow and invitation to be in New York on draft day which usually is reserved for first round draft picks.  Let’s just hope he packs a tent and sleeping bag because he could be in the green room for a long time.  AFter his workout, Tebow was quick to emphasize that he had only been practicing on this new throwing motion and that he still has 5 more weeks of practice to improve his draft stock.   Check out the video below of Tim Tebows’ Pro-Day workout
